Is there strategy in a Tabata workout? … The strategy is to maintain a certain level of work capacity. Do you go hard right out of the gate so you have nothing left for the rest of the rounds? Or do you set a goal number and try and hit that number for the entire interval? The more times you conquer the Tabata interval the more you will start to understand your work capacity. Just be sure no to crash and burn.
