Kristin here, and I have an announcement. The next CrissFut Novem Paleo nutrition seminar is coming up Saturday, July 7. This session is going to cover brand new topics not previously discussed at Novem! Whether you’re new to Paleo or have tried it for a while, you’ll be able to learn new things.
We’ll be discussing two topics: Macronutrients and Meal Planning.
We’ll start with a discussion on what the macronutrients are (protein, fat, carbohydrate) and how they’re used by your body. We’ll then look at different types of each and how they’re processed after a meal. Ultimately, we’ll see why it isn’t all about calories and why the quality of the food you’re eating really matters most.
Then we’ll move into a session on good Meal Planning. This is great if you need to plan out your week in advance. Some folks like to know what they’ll be cooking every night so they can make one stop at the grocery store each week, while others cook everything ahead of time so that meals are ready to go during a busy work week. We’ll address how to approach both styles. I’ll also provide easy recipe options for quick meals and cooking in bulk.
